Wow, where has the time gone? It has been almost two years since our last release of a Mark’s Magia blend. In its 10th vintage, Mark’s Magia has become a favorite. This is our fourth all-estate grown Mark’s Magia. For this vintage the blend is 70% Primitivo, 30% Negroamaro (a bit heavier on the NA than our last vintage). Our Negroamaro is generally ready to drink earlier than most of the wines we make, and when we blend it into our Primitivo, it seems to transfer that quality to the finished blend. 36 months in barrel and 1 year in bottle, a bit longer than we normally age our Mark’s Magia blend. This is a classic blend of the Puglia region of southern Italy. Only 85 cases produced.
