A Classic Cal~Ital styled Barbera. Blackberries on the front and in the mid-palate dance with a hint of anise (very “Cal”). Medium bodied, with a decidedly dry-ish finish (very “Ital”). We source our Barbera fruit from the Viani Vineyard in El Dorado County. Planted in 1999, the Viani Vineyard is one of the premier Sierra Foothill Barbera vineyards.
