Calendar of Events

I know what you are thinking...Friday evening, you just want to hang out and unwind.  Well, heck, so do we!  If you haven't made it to a MV&W Friday Night in the Vineyard, you are in for a terrific time.  Night time temps during the summer here are typically in the mid-60s, the vineyard has never looked more beautiful, the pizza from Main Street Pizza in Colfax is delivered, all you need to do is find a nice spot of grass and relax.
What: Friday Night Movies in the Vineyard
When: gate opens at 6:30, movie starts at dusk, (typically around 8:45pm)
Where:  MV&W, 15629 Mt Olive Rd, Chicago Park
Any Thing Else:  Cost is $10 for a 3 oz pour of wine, and all the pizza you can eat.  We even have popcorn. The movie is free!  Additional wine is available for purchase, of course. Bring your lawn chair or beach blanket, we'll supply the ambiance! (please note, we don't offer sampling during Friday Night in the Vineyard)

Friday, July 30th    French Kiss  Girl gets Boy, Boy gets Vineyard, Girl and Boy drink wine and live happily ever after.  And then, of course, there is the movie we are showing!  Starring Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline, this is a romantic comedy that is the perfect date movie.

Friday, August 13th    Viva Las Vegas   Hard to believe that it was 23 years ago!  In remembrance, this is one of our favorite Elvis Presley films.  Loads of fun and good music.

Friday, August 27th  Under the Tuscan Sun   You knew we'd have to do this one some time.  If the timing is right, we'll be releasing our '06 Sangiovese on this day as well.  If you love Tuscan-style wines, this wine and this movie will be a match made in heaven.

Friday, September10th  Hard Day's Night  Just in time for harvest, the movie that defined rock and roll movies for a generation.  About the best soundtrack ever...perfect for our really boss stereo speakers!

Saturday, September 25th  Rocky Horror Picture Show  Note we're doing this on Saturday night, and we are also releasing our Two Monsters Petite Sirah 2006 Reserve....perfect!

If you love Petite Sirah, 2pm Saturday, August 21st is the time, Montoliva Vineyard & Winery is the place.

Besides our line up of Tuscan-Inspired Quality Wines, we also produce a classic, fruit-forward Petite Sirah for our good friends at Basement Wines.  Bottled under the name 2 Monsters, our Petite Sirah is dark, rich, fruity...and we are barrel sampling this weekend.  Drop by between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday and enjoy tastings of the following:
